Therefore, I needed to come up with meaningful activities for my students for when they were not receiving instruction from me. Only certified teachers could administer a Tier 3 intervention. Why do you need supplemental activities?Įvery school system is different, but mine was VERY strict on who was administering the Edmark intervention. Students learn to view themselves as readers as they use the program's carefully sequenced, highly repetitive word recognition method in combination with errorless learning, an approach which eliminates incorrect responses. In these lessons, students learn how to read phrases, sentences, and eventually stories using these sight words.
